CX-1 Carbon The CX-1 represents the top of the line monocoque frames from Colnago. The front triangle is a monocoque structure where the seat and chain stays are lugged to the frame, this is to improve the handling of the CX-1. Expect the ride of the CX-1 to be fast and aggressive especially on climbs and sprints, with zero loss of power transfer or handling

The polygonal shape of the top and down tube of the CX-1 dows increase the lateral stiffnes so no loss of power is experienced. The lugged ea and chain stays are designed to give the rider maximum control and power transfer during a descent, spring, climb or braking.

Colnago Headset System C-HS2 The proprietary Colnago Headset System shows the innovation and attention to details and safety that Colnaog puts in to every new product introduction. For the CX-1 the C-HS2 uses a 1¹/₈" bearing size. One very important detail, when you compare to an integrated headset, is that each head tube has an aluminium sleeve where the bearings are inserted; this difference in technical approach increases the functionality and protection of the carbon inside.
