The all-new Ripcord delivers maximum smiles everywhere from the backyard to the bikepark.

The Ripcord has been taking kids to the next level for years, and this redesign will surely turn it up to 11. The Ripcord has evolved to share the best features of our adult bikes, utilizing our Giddy Up linkage design and vertical shock layout. With 130 mm of travel, riders have more capability and forgiveness in bike parks and for pavement kickers alike. The ultra low standover inspires confidence and fits a wider range of riders with a 365 mm reach, 65° headtube angle, and 395 mm chainstays. The new frame has internal dropper post routing and comes equipped with a dropper from the get go. This little ripper is ready to GiddyUp!

GiddyUp Suspension

The new kinematic layout allows riders to have supple suspension feel with high enough air pressure to ensure shocks have proper damping and the same range of tuning that we get on our adult trail bikes.

Internal Cable Routing For The Dropper, Derailleur And Brake

2.3" Maxxis DHRII Tyres with WTB Rims: The riders may be small, but they deserve every bit of traction grown ups do!
Waterbottle Compatible: The Ripcord fits the 450ml Fidlock water bottle.
12 × 148 mm Dropouts with UDH HangerStandard dropouts and UDH hanger make it easy to get replacement parts.

Speed Balanced Geometry

SBG ensures the bike maintains low speed agility, front wheel traction, and proper rider weight balance while actually increasing confidence in steep terrain and at high speeds. With SBG, a slacker head tube angle is combined with a reduced offset fork standard, preventing the front wheel from being too far in front of the rider. This improves front to rear weight distribution on the bike, which is often out of balance on long and slack bikes. One of SBG's greatest benefits is that it creates a confident steering feel that adapts to wheel speed. More stability when going fast, more agility on technical slow speed manoeuvring as well as improved traction, control and confidence for any skill level of rider.

GiddyUp Suspension Design

We want to make it as easy as possible to experience great rear suspension performance. The GiddyUp suspension system is designed to behave intuitively across a broad range of setup. Because, we get it, sometimes you just want to grab your bike and GiddyUp, without checking your setup. When you do, it will always feel good.

The Ripcord GiddyUp suspension has been designed to provide maximum tune-ability for smaller, lightweight riders. The Ripcord's overall leverage rate is higher than our adult bikes, which normalizes air pressures in the rear shock. On many platforms, lighter riders are forced to run air pressures that are too low, leading to poor suspension performance. Our proportional and balanced suspension design allows the rear shock to perform just as well as their riding heroes. Featuring a higher starting leverage and 20% of progression for improved small bump sensitivity, more usable rebound adjustment range, and plenty of bottom out support, the Ripcord is versatile enough for the bike park or pavement kickers around the neighbourhood.
